Terms & Conditions applies to all products and services ordered through Crazy Bird Print.

The Crazy Bird Print website, mobile website, mobile application (“Online Content”) is owned and operated by Sarah Jane Tutin trading as Crazy Bird Print hereinafter referred to as Crazy Bird Print within this document.

Introduction

Crazy Bird Print regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our
customers. The following privacy policy applies to all Crazy Bird Print users, and conforms to
Internet privacy standards.

Collection of Information

In order to use the Crazy Bird Print website, we may require information from you in order to
provide the best service possible.
All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and
accounts, including Email.
Any information collected by Crazy Bird Print is collected via correspondence from you or your
company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.

Use of Collection Information

Any details collected from Crazy Bird Print customers is required in order to provide you with our
products and/or services, and a high level of customer service.
Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff
development.

Storage of Collected Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information
(such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer
technology (SSL). When Credit Card details are collected, we simply pass them on in order to be
processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us,
both during transmission and once we receive it.

Access to Collected Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable
information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, Email, and
postal address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).
We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an
order, we will use this information to contact you.

Communications

Crazy Bird Print uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as
Emails, accounts information, and critical service details. We may also use this information for other
purposes, including some promotional Emails and SMS. If at any time a customer wishes not to receive such
correspondence, they can request to be removed from any mailing lists by emailing us at
graham@crazybirdprint.com.au.
You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our
agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your
information with that party.

Third Parties

Crazy Bird Print may at its discretion use other third parties to provide essential services on our site
or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that
service.
These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other
purpose.
Crazy Bird Print does not share any information with third parties for any unknown or unrelated uses.

Legal

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when
we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding,
court order, or legal process served on our Website.

Links

Links on the Crazy Bird Print site to external entities are not covered within this policy. The terms
and conditions set out in this privacy statement only cover the domain name of crazybirdprint.com.au.

Changes to Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the
homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect,
how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this
privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this
policy, we will notify you here, by Email, or by means of a notice on our homepage.

Crazy Bird Print Security Policy

Crazy Bird Print uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions.
eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants,
providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet.
All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured
payments.• Payments are fully automated with an immediate response

  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by <CompanyName> or any outside party.\
  • All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
  • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, furtherprotecting your credit card data.
  • eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
  • eWAY at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to themerchant account held by Crazy Bird Print .

Delivery Policy

<Physical goods>

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order
details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order
within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your goods via Courier or Australia Post within
7 working days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer.

<Digital Delivery>

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order
details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order
within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your software/license/access code via
email within 2 working days.

Orders

When you place an order with Crazy Bird Print, the order is final. Approval of artwork proofs and payment must be completed within two weeks of the placement of the order. Please make sure you are aware of the terms and conditions before ordering.

Fees to be aware of

Crazy Bird Print has a simple pricing structure for printing and design to make it easy for you control costs. Here are some extra fees you need to be aware of:

  1. Artwork Resubmission Fee$25.00 inc gst is payable when resubmitting your artwork after Crazy Bird Print has already emailed you a proof of your original artwork submitted. Even minor changes to your artwork require this fee.
  2. Artwork Edit Fee – $29.00 inc gst is payable if you require Crazy Bird Print to edit or fix a minor problem with your artwork. Permission must be granted by the customer first. Complex artwork problems will be quoted upfront.
  3. Order Cancellation Fee – $55.00 inc gst is payable if you cancel an order after paying any portion, or Crazy Bird Print has proofed artwork. This is to cover administration, accounts and prepress costs.

Email Proof

You will receive one (1) free proof for each item ordered.

  1. Proofs provided by Crazy Bird Print are an indication of the final printed product only.
  2. Variations in colour or trim can be a result of the printing process.
  3. No reprints at our cost will be printed.
  4. Resubmission of DIY artwork requires another proof to be prepared and emailed which costs $25.00 inc gst.
  5. Customers should read and follow our DIY Artwork Guidelines carefully before submitting their artwork.

Colour Variations

Our printing products may have colour variations from what you have seen on screen, to what the final product looks like.

  1. Colour variations may also exist between the front and back of the card, and previous orders can also be expected.
  2. This is the nature of CMYK offset printing and bulk-run printing.
  3. Different finishes, laminates and stock variations over time will also create variations in colour.

For the most precise colour matching service, we recommend puchasing a Pantone colour for your printing.

Trimming of printing

All printing products are trimmed. Trimming of printing products may shift up to 2mm in any direction, therefore our DIY Artwork Guidelines should be properly adhered to minimize risk of trimming affecting the look of the print.

Crazy Bird Print Designed Artwork

Artwork designed by Crazy Bird Print remains copyrighted to Crazy Bird Print and it’s designers until paid for in full. Unless otherwise stated in the product description, one proof is provided at no charge and extra revisions start from $29.00 inc gst.

Crazy Bird Print’s working files remain the property of Crazy Bird Print, even after a project is complete. Working files include but are not limited to vector files, layered files, fonts, linked files, and stock photography licenses. Crazy Bird Print reserves the right not to release these files, and charge fees for providing files at it’s own discretion.

  1. Crazy Bird Print Designer Card design allows for one proof to be provided.
  2. Extra proofs with changes to the design are available for $29.00 inc gst each.
  3. If the Client believes that Crazy Bird Print has not followed the brief to the best of it’s understanding, then they may request changes to the design at no cost. Disputes will be mediated by Crazy Bird Print Management.
  4. Crazy Bird Print design services can take up to 7 working days from payment to produce, and turnaround will vary depending on workload.

Outstanding Balances

Outstanding balances owed for design services not paid within 30 days will be automatically debited from the customer’s credit card. Customers are held liable for expenses incurred by Crazy Bird Print in recovering debts.

Accepting Proofs

When accepting artwork proofs from Crazy Bird Print, you are held fully responsible for accepting all content. This includes:

  1. design
  2. spelling
  3. grammar
  4. numbers
  5. layout
  6. and all content.

It is your responsibility to request another copy if your proof is difficult to read. We will print exactly what is accepted in the final proof. No reprints at our expense will be printed. If you would like to make changes to your DIY artwork after viewing the proof, you may resubmit your updated artwork to receive a new proof for $25.00 inc gst. Alternatively we can make your requested changes for you from $29.00 inc gst and then email you a new proof.

Submitting DIY artworkDesign at your own risk!

Please note that designing and submitting your artwork for printing can sometimes produce unplanned results if you do not have proper experience and training. Designing artwork for offset printing can be technical with a range of different variables that affect printing, often not noticeable on the computer screen. Crazy Bird Print fully recommends getting a professional designer to design your printing artwork or to use our Design Online Software. Customers submitting their own DIY artwork are fully responsible for the end result of printing. Customers are reminded to submit print-ready artwork with the correct specifications as outlined on our DIY Artwork Instructions.

Microsoft Office & Publisher

Crazy Bird Print does accept artwork formats such as Microsoft Office and Publisher, artwork complications and font conflicts often arise with Microsoft Word and Publisher files. Artwork make in these products need to be converted to PDF documents.

It is your responsibility to ensure that any artwork you submit is not in violation of any copyright laws. Crazy Bird Print assumes that your artwork is legally yours or you have the correct permission to print it. Crazy Bird Print reserves the right to make changes to your artwork without your consent to avoid printing problems that can be foreseen to happen. This will rarely change the design, but if it does it will be evident in the proof you receive.

Crazy Bird Print may rasterize your submitted DIY Artwork at standard print quality resolution before printing which effectively eliminates all vector data. Customers who prefer to keep their DIY Artwork untouched must receive express permission from the Printing Manager.

Turnaround & Delivery

Printing turnaround will vary.

  1. The average turnaround time for most printing products is 10 business days, this is not a guarantee but a guide.
  2. Printing does not commence until the Proof is approved and the Order is paid for in full.
  3. Design time is extra.
  4. Crazy Bird Print will not be held responsible for loss or damages due to printing being delivered after this time. It is the customer’s responsibility to allow plenty of time for preparing artwork, printing and delivery.

Express Digital business cards are printed and dispatched by the next business day, after the artwork is proof read and approved by the customer and providing that the artwork is press ready.

Items Lost in Post or by Courier

Crazy Bird Print will not be held liable for printing products that are lost, damaged or delayed when delivered by post or courier. All deliveries are left on premises if no one is present to receive the delivery, so it is the customer’s responsibility to provide a suitable address or PO Box. If Crazy Bird Print can provide a consignment number of the freight company, then it is the customer’s responsibility to liase with the freight company if needed.

All Crazy Bird Print orders come with one delivery. If an incorrect address is provided by the customer, then redelivery will incur extra charges set by Crazy Bird Print.

Accounts

All printing products must be paid for in full before they are sent to print, unless a specific arrangement has been made. The printing process will remain stalled until full payment has been confirmed by Crazy Bird Print. Payments by electronic funds transfer or cheque must be fully processed and received before printing commences. An account is considered overdue if payment in full has not been received for an order in over 30 days from the time of approval of artwork proof is given by any method. Crazy Bird Print reserves the right to process payment using a payment method previously supplied by the customer for overdue orders. Interest may be charged on any overdue accounts, and the customer agrees to pay any and all costs, fees, expenses, inclusive of commissions, legal expenses and disbursements incurred in obtaining or attempting to obtain payment of any overdue account.

Prices

While care has been taken in posting correct prices on the website, Crazy Bird Print has the right to remove or change products and prices without notice. All quotes are valid for 14 days only and may be subject to change after this period.

Feedback & Complaints

Customers who believe that their printing product is not up to standard are required to follow this procedure:

  1. Email gt@Crazy Bird Print.com.au with a valid Order Number, and a concise description of their feedback.
  2. If the quality of a printing product is concerned, then Crazy Bird Print may request a sample by mailed to Unit 1/1 Awoonga Ave Burleigh Heads Qld 4220 to be inspected.
  3. If a printing error has occurred that is not due to the customer’s artwork, then Crazy Bird Print will arrange a free reprint for the customer. Crazy Bird Print will not be held liable for errors caused by the customer’s artwork, delivery of the product or minor imperfections that fall within acceptable offset printing standards..

Please note that Crazy Bird Print requires all feedback to be submitting in writing (email preferred). Crazy Bird Print reserves the right to refuse to accept any goods which are returned after more than 14 days from dispatch date. Crazy Bird Print values honest and respectful feedback.

Spam Policy

We hate spam! The information collected in this site will only be used by Crazy Bird Print for the purposes of this order and any marketing efforts of Crazy Bird Print. We will not provide or sell your personal information to any third party.
